We are seeking qualified applicants for teaching and research in the area of rail vehicle and transport systems. The starting date is July 1st, 2016. Recognized expertise in the following areas is particularly welcome: The main research areas adress various challenges in rail vehicle technology. These include bogies, braking and anti-slide techniques, as well as other issues in wear protection for wheel-rail-contact. Moreover, attention should be paid to today's transportation challenges and the techniques necessary to confront them (vehicles, conveyors, cargo handling technology) as well as to questions related to intermodal transportation.
