Relay Account Executive, Hong Kong

Primary Objective:
Responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with Strategic Accounts within Hong Kong for LinkedIn Talent Solutions. You will play a key role in the APAC Strategic Account Executives (SAE) global account strategy and will be the customer facing sales representative based in Hong Kong.
- Within the first month, meet with the Strategic Account Executive (ultimate global account owner) of your Named Accounts to agree upon account goals, strategy and tactical plans to maintain & grow the account
- Within the first month, build both territory and account plans
- Within the first month, learn the entire suite of LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions (including media offerings), how they are used by our customers, and be able to make compelling recommendations for additional investments in LinkedIn. In addition, have an opinion on other systems used by our customers and we integrate with them
- On a weekly basis, plan out your activities/meetings to ensure you are focused on your largest opportunities
- Within the first 3 months, establish a trusted relationship with your accounts by providing high quality customer engagement activities (training, quarterly business reviews) with the solutions they have invested in
- Proactively grow the account off-cycle by selling new solutions and add-ons. With each new opportunity, conduct detailed discovery and needs analysis with both decision makers and end users to recommend the right LinkedIn solutions
- Build custom presentations and demonstrations based upon unique customer needs
- Be open, collaborative and customer-focused in all communications and transactions with colleagues and clients.
- Negotiate and close all orders with the larger LinkedIn investment in mind and provide post-contract support to ensure product delivery and satisfaction
- Coordinate and delegate a cross-functional team of subject matter experts (trainers, consultants, analysts) to support your accounts – effective communication and ability to work well with a team is critical
- Maintain on-going communication with the SAE to keep them up to speed on new opportunities within their accounts is critical
- Share your successful selling strategies and lessons learned with your team
- Use salesforce.com every day for tracking activities and most importantly, forecasting.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background
- Proven experience in quota exceeding roles, and demonstrated success in being a top 5% performer
- Proven track record of closing both new business as well as managing existing accounts
- Experience and success selling in both individual and team sale environments
- Extensive experience selling to both EVPs & CXOs and end-users, in the same sales cycle
- Proven ability to generate a plan to ensure deep penetration into global accounts
- Success in selling a brand new, disruptive technology
- BA/BS/MBA preferred
