Robert Half is seeking a Manager, Accounting Operations - Protiviti. The leadership of the Protiviti FSC is responsible for the management and development of staff, adherence to all SLAs and internal controls, and optimizing customer service.



Specific responsibilities include:



  • Coordinate in the implementation of corporate-wide system initiatives/upgrades.

  • Work with project team in completing project plan that includes testing, conversion and rollout of initiatives/upgrades.

  • Assign project resources.

  • Responsible for testing of quarterly and annual updates to ERP.

  • Change management.

  • Thought leadership.

  • Communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies.

  • Maintain relationships with external and internal organizational units.

  • Engage customer for feedback on team customer support.

  • Implement changes as required to maintain customer service levels.

  • Quickly identify cause, effects and solutions of escalated problems.

  • Evaluate and prioritize problem resources.

  • Work with FSC staff and Corporate Services teams to expedite problem resolution.

  • Communicate progress and completion of problems to manager, and affected internal and external customers.

  • Review and approve prepared contractor invoices, prior period time and expense adjustments and billing reversals in accordance with the approval matrix.

  • Regularly perform all tasks of FSC to maintain knowledge of system and processes.

  • SME for all FSC processes.

  • Responsible for execution of processes to established global goals and objectives.

  • Determine appropriate reporting for internal and external audiences, applying global standards when possible.

  • Use reports to monitor activity and appropriately allocate resources.

  • Evaluate and prioritize report development for field and internal use.

  • Manage staff/direct reports to continually refine and improve processes while maintaining internal controls.

  • Evaluate and prioritize internal process improvement.

  • Responsible for adherence to established internal controls and global processes.

  • Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation.

  • Identify current and future needs of Protiviti FSC.

  • Match FSC staff to needs.

  • Identify opportunities to develop current staff to fill gaps between needs and resources.

  • Engage staff and motivate to improve their performance.

  • Staff architecture.

  • Define team goals and individual performance plans.

  • Responsible for personnel actions, including hiring/firing. Complete and deliver performance reviews.
