Ranked #7 of Fortune's 100 Best Places to Work in 2014, we are seeking an experienced, quota carrying sales performer who is looking to focus their skills to drive the effective use of technology for social benefit. The Account Executive is responsible for energetically selling Salesforce's solutions to large Non-profit Organizations. Additionally, this role is responsible for acquisition of new customers within the assigned territory.



Responsibilities:

Development of a strategic sales plan to effectively and efficiently cover the accounts within the assigned territory.

Manage lead qualification and conversion from interested NGO prospects.

Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships within the assigned NGO accounts.

Consulting with and advising large, strategic Salesforce.com NGO customers resulting in increased adoption, success and enterprise wide deployments.

Some travel, as required, to prospects, customers or marketing events (<20% travel).



Required Skills/Experience:

Track record of success (6+ years) selling CRM or similar enterprise business applications or platforms to Large Enterprises. Nonprofit sales experience preferred but not required.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage external and internal resources, close monthly business while managing enterprise opportunities.

Detailed knowledge of and, passion for, Cloud Computing applications (hands on experience with Salesforce, Force.com and AppExchange offerings preferred).

Strong technical background.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Experience utilizing web based conferencing tools such as Go-To-Meeting, WebEx, for internal and customer facing meetings.

A passion for Non-profit work.

Bachelors or University Degree required.



Location: San Francisco, CA

This position reports to The Vice President of Commercial Sales - NGO - Non-Profit for the Salesforce.com Foundation.
