Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As a thought leader in brand and digital strategy, you will be tasked with staying on top of Google’s latest in digital brand-building tools and technologies and keeping the rest of the team educated on these trends. You will act as a Lead Facilitator managing a schedule of brand workshops with customers, guiding a team through a jam-packed agenda of brand strategy and hands-on experiences with content and technology.
You will contribute to the ongoing development of a curriculum that fuels our workshops with a focus on insights, video, display, mobile and social and spans the entire suite of Google tools and technologies. You will be working closely with the post-workshop activation team, and you'll ensure all action items are tangible and meet the stated objectives of the workshop.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing the workshops for Tokyo Partner Plex and growing a team to execute on workshops and coordinate with cross functional teams to launch the Partner Plex.
- Refine the setup of the Partner Plex physical spaces and customer journey. Help develop a strategic and creative vision for a selection of top brands based on brand brief and relevant insights and align with global curriculum as it evolves and is tailored to each customer.
- Build solid tools and mechanisms to uncover insights from key Google proprietary insight tools like Google Search and YouTube trends, shaping them into groundbreaking juicy insights.
- Have a solid understanding and knowledge of Google's suite of products. Facilitate the workshops and C-level client facing and ensure the Sales team takes responsibility of any follow-up.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a marketing, event planning, and/or brand management role.
- Business level communication in Japanese and English.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA and/or consulting experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including specific experience facilitating workshops and leading strategic conversations with senior-level audiences.
- Proven track record of leading sales teams and other managers effectively.
- Strong, established and recognized presence in a regional marketplace with an extensive list of relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-orientation, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
