The Opportunity

We are seeking a smart, enthusiastic, and outgoing legal studies student, for a position where you will help to address the novel and complex legal and business issues that confront a fast-growing, social media company committed to innovation.

Description

• You will work closely with the APAC LinkedIn legal team on a variety of matters, ranging from legal research and writing to drafting technology transaction contracts.


• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, collaborative environment.


• Be a self-starter, willing to engage other team members in developing your workload and projects.


• Play an active role in fulfilling LinkedIn's mission of connecting the world's professionals to make them more productive and successful, by being an integral member of our fast-paced, well-rounded, collaborative and FUN legal team.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a university's legal studies program or equivalent. Top 10% of class strongly preferred.


• Passion. We want you to come in to work, excited about being here!


• Multi-dimensional interests and skillsets. We want someone interested in a variety of legal fields, from contracts to intellectual property to employment.


• Superb written and verbal communication skills.


• Exceptional creative and critical thinking.


• Ability to collaborate.


• Detail-oriented.


• Have a LinkedIn account with no less than 500 connections. (Just joking! But a great sense of humor is mandatory.)
