The qualified candidate will work as a senior member of the software development team focused on the database components of ADP Tax Credit Product. This team is responsible for the architecture, design, and development, deployment and maintenance of different systems handling millions of transactions per day with large volume of data.



Lead in designing, development and architecture of Oracle databases and systems schemas for a large enterprise distributed product.



Create, develop and review the physical data model created from Logical data model.



Ensures that the detailed physical design of database and data structures comply with data policies, standards, principles and meets the established level of service agreements/goals for the system including data security, SOX and SOC level audits.



Provides high level technical and operational database administration with Oracle database server(s) including storage, archiving, and production monitoring



Analyze, design and implement changes for enterprise level performance SLA



Build and tune databases, setup and implementation of HA strategy, backup and recovery procedures, tuning SQL & PL/SQL and writing procedures



Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation providing support for database-related problems

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Minimum 7 year experience as a database programmer/administrator



5+ year of applicable work experience as a database architect/developer



5+ year experience of designing and managing large reporting databases & building data warehouse and data marts.



5 + year experience of database performance tuning and SQL tuning skills with hands on experience in designing and developing PL/SQL and shell scripting.



5+ year experience of managing databases storage including ASM, backups and recovery & general maintenance of Oracle databases etc.



Experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin and similar tools



Experience using ETL tools such as Goldengate, IBM Data Manager etc



Knowledge of SQL server a plus
