Job Description



The role of our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is to provide strategic direction and vision for Dell Services Federal Government Group's portfolio of service offerings to include cloud, mobility, security and managed services solutions. This role reports to the Executive Vice President and collaborates with senior leadership, solution design, capture, proposal, pricing and sales team to drive new growth in existing markets. The CTO is responsible for analyzing industry trends and translating the customer mission/business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs to create repeatable service offerings. All while balancing the needs of sales and delivery to design service offerings that meet the requirements of service delivery.



Additional Responsiblities:

- Support customer evaluations

- Lead joint conversations regarding technology platforms and solutions in our core service offerings to include interaction and evaluation with partners and or third party vendors

- Interact with organizational leaders, analysts and IT to bridge the gap between mission objectives, functional needs and technology capabilities

- Assist in development of detailed proposals for clients services, responsibilities and timelines

- Present company service offerings at executive, technical and end-user briefings to both existing and prospective clients

- Lead industry training sessions

- Build and advance technical relationships

- Provide architectural and technical direction

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Dell's technology portfolio

- Drive collaboration across the internal organization

- Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business

- Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives

Bachelors in Information Technology or IT Engineering related field



Experience



Typically requires at least 10* years relevant experience without a Degree; 8+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 6+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree
