Job

The Reporting Analyst supports the Manager, Global Reporting in all aspects of functional operational reporting. The reports are sent to individuals and managers within Credit and Collections, Revenue Operations, Finance and periodically to senior management. The Reporting Analyst must provide information that is accurate and actionable. They will also be responsible for documenting existing processes, as well as proposing and implementing new ideas that will benefit the reporting function.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational strategic workforce plan for the A/R operations team, including forecasting and analyzing growth trends. Once completed, provide quarterly updates to each business partner on performance and hiring recommendations.

  • Partner with the business leaders to help understand their business, and provide guidance on areas of improvement, and areas to focus to meet performance metrics.

  • Ability to lead others to follow the organization’s direction or practices in order for the group to succeed on a project or initiative

  • Build deep business partner relationships across the company. Build a network of relationships with people in different areas of the organization in order to gain buy-in for an idea that you champion.

  • Develop and maintain financial models and metrics to determine financial impact of business decisions. Working cross functionally, continuously updating the cash flow forecast for collections.

  • Compile monthly cost and productivity metrics for A/R operations, and provide recommendations for increased productivity, and areas of investment.

  • Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly aging of the company’s accounts receivable portfolio for internal reporting.

  • Compute monthly revenue deferral for accounts where collectability is not assured in the credit verification process.

  • Assist the Global Reporting, Process & Projects Manager in analyzing various ad hoc and performance reports.

  • Drive process improvement projects within A/R operations, by providing timely relevant information through reporting based solutions.

  • Maintain data quality and validity.




Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3-5 years working in a finance role

  • Prior Financial /Operational Analysis is preferred

  • Ability to plan and prioritize

  • Able to present information and ideas to a large group.

  • Demonstrated initiative

  • Able to think broadly – “see the big picture” and “connect the dots”

  • Ability to work independently

  • Demonstrated participation in process improvement initiatives and/or project management experience

  • Ability to deal with all levels of management

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal skills

  • Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing and meeting strict deadlines

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Able to use SFDC reporting tool and Oracle AR reporting tool
