We are seeking talented Infrastructure Engineer for our mission Critical Infrastructure engineering teams. The Infrastructure Engineering is at the forefront of developing customer facing products/experiences that is revolutionizing cloud and SaaS technologies. We are looking for experienced candidates to design, implement and scale our DevOps technologies, approach, and platform to support our mission critical systems. Qualified candidates will bring the latest software development, automation and deployment practices. You will develop systems to accelerate our deployments for a variety of products, data and system SLAs. Use your talents and passion to make complete HA systems and make our software sing.



Responsibilities:

• Take personal responsibility for the availability and reliability of our service.


• You will actively participate and influence the roadmap on Capacity Planning, Monitoring, Scaling, Infrastructure, Code deployment, Release planning - and EVERYTHING else that enables our services to delight and deliver for our customers.


• Provides technical support to multiple product development teams with infrastructure/Platform needs.


• Works in conjunction with multiple teams to make sure that the infrastructure and the applications that depend on it work harmoniously together.


• Author tools that reliably manage infrastructure. We're looking for someone to write clean, re-usable code. Elegant OO code that’s simple. This *is not* a scripting/sysadmin job.


• Work closely with the development teams to define the tools, processes and implementation to support fast iteration software development.


• Designing, scaling out services in our multi-tenant infrastructure.


• Provide fanatical support and thought leadership to the on-call teams in support of the pertinent services (including supporting the Site Reliability team as needed via on-call rotation).

Requirements:

• A distributed systems foundation and a service-oriented mindset. You’re always thinking
  
  “What happens if this fails?” when you build things.


• Been part of on-call rotation before (ideally at both a startup and a large infrastructure provider) & have first-hand experience with what happens when infrastructure // tools fail.


• Strong passion towards building tools and systems that enable other developers on the team to build great things.


• Minimum of 5 years coding experience and a general awareness of DevOps best practices.


• Strong Linux system administration skills


• BS Degree in Computer Science or Technical Field
