Salesforce.com is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with an extensive background in building and leveraging scalable and innovative enterprise-level processes and business planning systems for a Global company. The candidate will represent the business, partnering with IT to define the vision and bring it to reality. Using the salesforce.com platform and related technologies, the candidate will be the driving influence behind the development, testing, and roll-out of an integrated workforce, quota, and territory planning system. The Senior Business Analyst is a key member of the Go-to-Market Operations team, supporting the Employee Success (Human Resources), Sales, Strategy, Compensation, and Quota teams. The ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of a scalable go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with business stakeholders, both HQ and regional/country business partners, IT, and the application team to identify, document, and prioritize requirements
- Develop functional specifications for new functionality or make system changes focused on the sales team planning functional area
- Partner with IT to evaluate how best to leverage Salesforce.com technology functionality to meet evolving business requirements and information needs
- Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Ensure solutions promote simplification, efficiency and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users
- Provide functional leadership during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with supported business partners
- Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and execute testing in support of system and user acceptance testing
- Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs
- Partner with business owners and other team members to develop required change management materials
- Partner with the support organization to provide training, support and technical assistance to end users
- Participate in Agile scrum team, responsible as business lead and central subject matter expert
Experience/Skills Required:
- Bachelors Degree, with 5 – 7 years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar function
- 5+ years information systems experience
- Experience with the Salesforce.com platform and related cloud or web based technologies
- Implementation and support experience with global business systems from gathering and documenting complex business requirements through testing and production rollout
- Excellent change management leadership skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation
- Proven ability to coordinate a diverse set of business users to develop cohesive and streamlined requirements, documentation and user acceptance criteria
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines
- Confidence and interpersonal skills to achieve effective working relationships at all levels
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Willing to receive direction and guidance within a team environment, adopt and develop best practices and circumnavigate obstacles with creative technical solutions
- Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability
- Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams

Experience/Skills Desired:
- Certified salesforce.com System Administrator and/or Force.com Developer
- Expert knowledge in business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, detailed functional design, test planning, and UAT execution with an emphasis in headcount planning, quota/compensation planning, or territory coverage planning
- Implementation and support experience with global HCM, territory, and compensation planning systems (e.g. Workday, Peoplesoft, Workscape, Xactly) or related work supporting a global sales organization
- Experience with Use Case modeling and AGILE development methodology
