Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.



As a Google Fiber Sales Representative, you will be part of the team that evangelizes Google Fiber services to MDU (multi-dwelling apartments and condos) and SMB owners. You will proactively reach out and and articulate how Google Fiber Solutions can help make their work more productive. You will excel at product pitching, cultivating a strong base of new clients and working with fellow technical Googlers to devise solutions to meet the client’s needs.



Responsibilities


  • Call prospective clients from assigned lead pool.

  • Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits to prospective MDU owners, property management companies, and SMB owners.

  • Negotiate language and terms.

  • Set and achieve quarterly sales quotas.

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, reporting on activity and offering creative sales closing strategies.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience within account management, sales or marketing.

  • 1 year of lead generation/telemarketing experience within a high-tech company.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM software.

  • Experience selling Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services to MDU owners/property management companies and small to medium businesses with existing MDU relationships.

  • Ability to act with a high degree of autonomy and deliver results under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
