Healthcare Payer IT Services Delivery Manager

We are currently looking for a Healthcare IT Services Delivery Manager to join our Healthcare IT Implementation & Delivery Group. The Healthcare IT Services Delivery Manager will direct the practice of system implementations. This is an account-level position that requires direct interaction with client executive sponsors and senior account leaders.



Responsibilities will include:

- Managing a group of business system analysis team members in a highly matrixed global delivery model

- Assisting in setting project timeframes, resource allocation, and priorities based on project objectives and ongoing assignments

- Establishing and influencing operating policies

- Mentoring team members on delivery management best practices and process improvement opportunities

- Resolving escalated problems to maintain strong customer experience levels, ensuring team achieves performance and customer service metrics

- Acting in a lead role in managing customer relationship

- Day-to-day operations management of processes, programs and/or initiatives

- Managing and controling expense for the organization while ensuring resource optimization

- Planning for future needs and operations with impact to department results

- Managing all HR aspects of team performance, expenses, time accrual and allocation for a staff of professional level team members

- Defining roles and responsibilities, contributing to standards around which others will operate



QualificationsRequirements

- 10 years relevant IT experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience) with 5+ years of Healthcare Payer experience implementing payer applications

- 4+ years managerial/leadership experience with demonstrated strong ability to motivate, direct, and lead cross-functional delivery teams

- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and lead third party relationships

- Ability to manage delivery costs to plan

- Experienced organizing and planning skills to effectively manage a team

- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels

- Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills



Preferences

- Undergraduate or graduate degree

- Experience managing resources in a remote environment
