Slovak Republic, SK - Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Information Technology and Services

Job Title: Quality Senior Engineer Role Responsibilities:



Collaborate with other Global Services Engineering (GSE) organizations and Product Group (PG) to provide End-to-End Global Services support to drive quality and warranty cost improvements for AC Adapters, Batteries and Mechanical commodities.



Own services quality across products, focusing on the full warranty life of products. Partner with Services Program Managers (SPM) and other GSE organizations through the services commodity teams to drive the services agenda in the Core teams.



Partner with PG to prioritize root cause investigations leading to technical solutions and lesson learned to minimize services impact.



Proactively identify and solution commodity Quality and process issues that impact Warranty Cost & Customer Experience.



Proficient in analytical tools & software, such as SQL, Excel pivots, Access, JMP, to identify quality and cost reduction opportunities.



Represent Services for field quality issues across all products for commodity issues.



Drive commodity management for escalations and tech support/ services Dead on arrival (Dead) issues.



Role Requirements:



Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent 10+ years of services experience with computers or consumer electronics.



Self-starter, effective at setting priorities, desire to participate in and lead cross functional teams and drive change.



Proficient with key analytical tools & software, such as SQL, Excel pivots, Access, JMP, to identify quality and cost reduction opportunities.



PMP certification preferred, but not required.
