Role overview



Application Security consultant is responsible for building solution offerings of Application Security as a service comprising of IAM, Vulnerability Assessment, Monitoring and Secure Code Review for Dell clients.



Candidate will be responsible for application security solution roadmap, implementation as a consulting stream. Build a relationship with Dell's client and act as a COE for application security area. Understand existing and forthcoming security technology consulting services from both a business and technical perspective



Role Responsibilities



Application Security Consultant must be comfortable with developing Application Security (IAM, Vulnerability Assessment, Secure Code review and Monitoring) design requirements.



Establishing Application Security designs across business, process and technical viewpoints, and provide with demonstrable examples of how they have delivered or led successful projects in application security within at least one industry sector.



Candidate needs to be working alongside and sharing knowledge with renowned Application Security experts across the globe being part of not only to Enterprise Information Security initiatives, but enabling the latest customer-centric Digital, Cloud and Mobility offerings.



Candidate will be responsible for working as client side advisors or of taking lead responsibility on major IAM, application vulnerability initiatives involving a number technologies and standards, including the latest Consumer OAuth, OpenID, UMA, SAML, SCIM, Pen testing, Risk assessment, SIEM



Provide concise overviews of Security products and services, in both verbal and written forms, and draw high-level architecture diagrams and provide supporting documentation where necessary



Producing scopes, bid content and pre-sales support



Expected to take a client oriented approach to their work providing technical consultancy to clients and Marketing teams.



Publish advisories, white papers



Ability to challenge previous assumptions and identify innovative methods for solving a problem.



Requirements



12+ years of Application security consulting experience



6 years as manager of a IAM, App sec team



Experience in all phases of SDLC



Experience in IDM, SSO, Secure Code Review, Vulnerability assessment and event monitoring



Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRisk is added advantage



Excellent communication and presentation skills



Excellent in building relationship from technology and business teams



Experience working with globally distributed teams



Skills



Expertise in Source code review, vulnerability development, identification of logical flaws in programs and programming ability in more than one language like C, C++, Java



Solution design experience in IAM, application vulnerability and its Implementation.



Knowledge in web technologies (Java, PHP, ASP.NET, AJAX, etc.) and application security techniques and challenges



Information Security Standards, Regulations, Guidelines, Frameworks and Best Practice (ISO, COBIT, PCI, OWASP, SANS, etc.)



Hands on and good understanding of any IAM tools like CA SiteMinder, IBM Tivoli, SUN IDM, Sailpoint, Oracle IDM



Hands on and good understanding of vulnerability assessment, secure code review, pen testing tools like Burpsuite, Ouncelab, Fortify, Veracode, Appscan etc



Knowledge of operating systems (UNIX/Linux and Solaris, Windows) and of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
