About the Position
System Administrators are responsible for daily availability and performance of the systems in the environment. Individual will provide technical support for all aspects of the systems availability, implementation and maintenance.
Responsibilities
The main focus for this position will be administration of a complex Windows environment for production (application we sell). This includes a multitude of clustered SQL servers, application servers and multiple domains. Managing system issues, updates and upgrades, as well as providing off hours support when required. This is a mid-level system administrator position. Individual must be a self starter, and work well with minimal supervision. Must be able to seek out problems and quickly identify solutions.
Requirements
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• 4 to 5 years of Systems Administration experience in the following environments:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012 (Required)
• Windows Server Core
• DNS
• Active Directory Management
• Multi-domain model Administration
• VMware Administration
• 2012 Server experience
• Administer Virtual Infrastructures (VMWare) including provisioning, reporting, monitoring and maintenance of virtual machines and ESX server management across a worldwide deployment.
• Performance tune virtual machine implementations across Windows deployments on ESXi, Virtual Server and physical server solutions.
• Knowledge of SCCM 2012 R2 management and configuration
