As a software engineer, you work on a small team and can switch teams and projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves. We need our engineers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.



Responsibilities

• Develop robust high-volume web-based and mobile (Android/iOS) applications, including back-end and front-end. Develop new prototypes and experiments quickly.


• Build our platforms and large scale infrastructure, using your strong background in distributed systems, OS/kernel, network, and large scale storage systems.


• Develop new algorithms and systems backing user facing products, using techniques like data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, large scale data processing, optimization, etc.

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.


• Experience programming in C++ and/or Java.


• Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms and software design.

Preferred qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.


• Skills in modern web development, Python or JavaScript, database design, SQL and/or knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming.


• Strong object-oriented skills.
