About the Position
The Senior Social Media Consultant is responsible for guiding our customers in their social journey to unlock greater business value from social. They will leverage an exceptional depth and breadth of practical social media listening, publishing and digital marketing experience to help shape a customer's operational strategy and roadmap and lead the execution of this strategy in an engagement. This role could include participating in sales activities, but will be focused at leading or participating in engagement delivery as a senior resource. The Senior Social Media Consultant will have day-to-day contact with customer leadership, stakeholders and team members throughout the engagement and must be very adept at firmly guiding all parties in a consultative fashion.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Guide customer in one or many of the following areas in a delivery capacity:
- Development of social strategy, goals, objectives, measurement and roadmap
- Tactical social initiatives and campaigns
- Governance and operational models
- Practical application of and deployment of Social Marketing Cloud platform
- Best practices for achieving social and business goals objectives
- Partner closely with all levels of customer stakeholders and brand partners to plan and execute a social program.
- Provide practical thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders, tailoring message and delivery appropriately for diverse audiences.
- Lead strategic, planning and implementation workshops with an executive audience.
- Work onsite with customers in the delivery of our engagement methodology from strategy through execution through results
- Technical acumen to convert vision and strategy into practical, high value solutions.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with key customer team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute best practice content and IP for internal and external use.
Requirements
- Intense focus on customer success throughout customer life-cycle
- Demonstrated expertise and passion for social / digital marketing space - agency, social / digital boutique or management consulting background required.
- 4+years consulting / agency experience or comparable in-industry experience in marketing / social roles.
- 2+ years experience with social media monitoring, publishing and engagement platforms
- Deep and current knowledge of the social landscape.
- Fluency in social data, analytics and metrics
- Extremely strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrated success in delivering consultative services to F1000 clients.
- Proven ability to partner internally with multiple stakeholders and with customer to provide transformational solutions and results
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage several engagements simultaneously.
- Aggressive bias for action and drive for results
- Flexibility to travel
- Second language a plus
