Fraud Investigator - Global Service Parts

Role Overview
We are seeking a candidate for a Fraud Investigator role in our Global Service Fraud organization, which is a part of Dell’s Global Service Parts team. The person chosen for this role will join a growing and dynamic global team within Dell Inc., with cross-functional and multi-country impact and responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
• Responsible for identification, assessment, and correction of process gaps or loopholes that enable fraud:
- Drive Closed Loop Corrective Action through established process to address
- Partner cross-functionally to effect changes to eliminate process gaps
- Deep-dive and correlate datasets to identify trends and anomalies related to fraud
- Establish and update regular loss and loss-avoidance metrics
- Regularly present findings to executive audiences
- Collection, compilation and presentation of evidence to law enforcement and prosecution.
• Establish proactive early-warning tools and processes to highlight fraud before loss occurs
• Coordinate globally to establish Best Practice processes in each region to identify and eliminate fraud opportunities
• Serve as liaison to global cross-functional teams including parts operations, tech support, fraud teams, Dell security, external law enforcement
• Manage a partner relationship providing fraud detection and prevention
Qualifications
Requirements
• 15+ years of investigation/fraud experience, law enforcement background required
• Strong verbal and written English language
• Understanding of a case management system and ability to keep cases up to date
• Ability to look at large amounts of data and prepare evidentiary findings
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferences
• Ability to articulate and compile necessary information to escalate matters to law enforcement
• Financial crime data analytics and law enforcement experience
• High-tech / computer background and specific knowledge of Dell products and systems
• Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent certification
