GENERAL SUMMARY:
Dell"s Global Operations organization is expanding a team of innovation-focused thinkers to grow direct support of the procurement, logistics, and supply chain organizations in the use of innovation tools and techniques to create value and accelerate the building of a culture of innovation. This role will support team members across the Asia-Pacific region in their use of innovative tools, particularly Design Thinking, helping teams frame issues, develop workplans, conduct data collection and analysis, and facilitate workshops for idea creation.
Successful members of the team are well positioned for future line leadership roles.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with top executives across the organization to identify and lead innovation engagements with Global Operations business stakeholders
- Evangelizing across the organization as part of a larger culture of innovation vision for Global Operations
- Developing and training teams on innovation principles, processes, tools, best practice (i.e., Center of Excellence)
- Leading the measurement and reporting of role impact
- Working with frontline teams to influence/ensure rapid implementation of your recommendations

Qualifications :
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience facilitating large cross-functional groups with a goal of solution design
- Project/team lead experience on a global scale
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Ability to conduct and lead interviews that seek to understand, uncover needs, issues, and opportunities
- Strong persuasive and presentation skills geared toward influence and shaping an organization at all levels
- Experience delivering training or helping to build capabilities within a team
- Comfort working in a team and being constructively challenged by colleagues
- Drive toward value-creation above all else
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in operations, procurement, logistics, or supply chain
- Previous experience with design thinking or other innovative tools and techniques
- Experience in strategy or management consulting, business transformation, strategic planning a plus
OTHER INFORMATION:
- This role is based in Shanghai
- This role will directly report to a Director in Austin, TX, USA
- Some travel (<20%) may be involved as a part of this role
