Mechanical Engineering Intern, Summer 2015

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join one of our world-class design teams. You will have a strong CAD skills and prototyping background. You will also have knowledge of system architecture. As an engineer on our team you will be directly involved in board design and analysis of board level power distribution and power conversion.
Responsibilities
- Perform specific responsibilities which vary by project area.
Minimum qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in multiple areas of product design such as thermal, structural, manufacturability, serviceability and reliability.
- Experience in the product design process, including requirements gathering, concepts generation and detailed design, analysis and verification testing, cross functional reviews and manufacturing release.
- Experience with designing in CAD or other related software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
