Associate,Corporate Communications

Position Summary



LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Associate to join our communications team based in London. This role is responsible for helping to execute global communications programs, managing team requests for data and design resources and organizing team meetings and events for the international team. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Global Programs.



Our ideal contractor has proven communication and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. They must demonstrate experience in managing projects/programs, media relations and writing. The candidate must be able to work well independently and as part of a team. Natural affinity for online networking sites is a plus.



Duties and Responsibilities


  • Supporting the Senior Manager, Global Programs on executing global programs monthly and/or quarterly

  • Draft, briefs, media materials and pitches

  • Liaise with PR agencies globally as required



  • Participate in international PR network, including global coordination on campaigns, best-practice sharing, etc.



  • Calendar management and expenses management for EMEA Corp Comms Senior Director and wider team as needed

  • Book rooms for events and sessions

  • Organize team offsite events including locating and booking venue, travel for team, transportation on the ground and all meals and activities

  • Book travel for international offsites or country visits for team

  • Maintain team crisis contact list and updating with new or changed contacts every two months

  • Track design and development requests from entire communications team

  • Prioritize design and development requests in partnership with senior manager, global programs

  • Work with Brand and Marketing team each month to rank requests and organize time allocations

  • Track data requests from entire communications team and prioritize requests in partnership with Senior Manager, Global Programs

  • Work with insights team each month to rank requests and organize time allocations




Relevant Experience, Education and Skills


  • A bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism/PR or English preferred

  • 5-7 years of experience in a communications role or project management role (agency or corporate environment)

  • Strong attention to detail and high expectations for quality

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Energetic self starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who can inspire team to adopt new processes

  • Outstanding writing, editing and communication skills

  • Possess a high degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality

  • Demonstrate managerial maturity and good judgment at all times

  • Building and maintaining internal and external relationships is critical to this position

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels
