We’re looking for an Analyst to join our Sales Operations team to support our fast growing employment branding business. The Sales Operations Analyst will get experience helping define and solve the most important operational issues for our executives and running normal operational reporting for the business.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to build and maintain analytic models that describe the health of the business. S/he will communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to senior executives and team members on a regular basis. The role offers the candidate exposure to all parts of LinkedIn’s field sales organization and will allow for general enterprise sales experience as well as deeper specialization in operations, particularly territory planning and compensation/incentives design.
Objectives:
- Manage the operational cadence of the global employment branding team including day-to-day management of items such as:
- quotas
- territories
- churn analysis
- Complete decision-driving projects for our executives with zero defects, including, but not limited to:
- product mix analysis among sales reps and teams
- territory optimization
- sales incentive design and calculation methodology
- process optimization
- forecast modeling
- sales performance metrics, tracking, and reporting
- customer success (retention and sentiment)
- Establish strong working relationships with business operations, sales leadership, compensation, finance, and systems teams to achieve above objectives
- Become a “go-to” resource for senior leadership for ad-hoc analysis and projects to drive continued operational excellence in the region
- Work with other global sales operations analysts to share and leverage best practices across regions
Requirements:
- 2+ years in high-growth, performance focused environments.. Relevant industries include enterprise software, consumer internet, services - management consulting or investment banking.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management
- Excellent Excel skills are required; experience with Salesforce.com preferred. Bonus for other data mining and visualization skills – e.g. SQL, Tableau
