Job Description
Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government, Inc.(DSFG) is looking for a Senior Systems Integrator to provide cost effective systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of mission or business applications. This includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, translation into proper system requirement specifications and configuration. This position will be responsible for formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of systems, applications and industry requirements. This role often operates as a liaison between technical personnel, IT leadership and customer leadership. This role will also evaluate and translate end user needs and problems to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate. The selected candidate will need to understand the people and process implications of technical solutions, and assists in defining and documenting the technology solutions to support any future needs. The selected candidate will also communicate new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing system.
Required Skills
Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
4 years experience developing and/or designing application architecture for n-tier architecture in a services oriented environment
4 years experience developing applications that require high-availability in all components of an n-tier application architecture
4 years experience with unstructured data processing or structured (RDBMS) database design
4 years experience developing and/or designing applications with open source components
4 years experience understanding current state architecture and its positives/negatives, projecting a future state architecture to resolve issues, and documenting and communicating a product roadmap to carry the product and product team from current to future state.
Desired Skills
Understanding of various methods to implement world-class security for all application architecture tiers
Understanding and/or experience in continuous integration (DevOps)
Understanding and/or experience with hosting applications and/or data in Amazon Web Services
Education
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Experience
4+ years experience as a Systems Integrator or similar function in a government contracting organization.
