Qualifications :
KEY OBJECTIVE:
1. Perform function, NLS and regression testing for Oracle FMW products. Working with Oracle Japan and global development teams to delivery Oracle server products in a high quality.
2. Help customer solve complex technical issues, focusing on solution providing to customer, effectively manage assigned project tasks according to plan. On-site work may be required base on project needs.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Be the expert for the FMW products being worked on.
2. QA work on Oracle FMW product pre-release versions.
- Design and implement installation/regression test suites for the products.
- Execute test suites on various OS environment to discover defects in the products.
- Cooperate with global development teams to tack and fix the bugs.
- Evaluate new feature of product and write relevant document
- Communicate with Oracle Japan to make sure products quality is satisfied by Japanese customers.
3. Support Oracle key customers in APAC to solve critical issues after (or during) implementation.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:
1. BS or MS in Computer, Business, Industry Engineering or Operations Research.
2. Extensive experience with Unix platforms, preferably Solaris, Linux, AIX.
3. Implementation or testing experience on FMW products is required.
4. Solid understanding and experience for J2EE Application Server especially WebLogic
5. Familiar with script language skill (e.g. UNIX SHELL, Perl, ANT).
6. Technical knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL, Linux/Unix OS, development experience will be a plus.
7. Excellent communication skills and great teamwork.
8. Excellent in Chinese and English is a must.
9. Japanese language ability will be a plus
10. Proven analytical and problem solving skills. Quick learner for new technologies.
11. Exhibits good project planning and time management skills
12. Self-motivated.
13. Be punctuate for work.
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
