The EMEA Revenue Recognition team is a group of highly motivated professionals who leverage their knowledge and expertise to enable Oracle Business Leaders to execute business with partners and customers that will maximize Oracle’s revenues, while ensuring the highest standard of compliance with Oracle’s internal controls, business practices and internal and external accounting policies.

As a member of this highly skilled team, you will be working closely with various stakeholders (e.g. Deal Management, Business Practices, Legal) to ensure Oracle’s Revenue Recognition policies are adhered to and that revenues are recognized appropriately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support and advice to all Lines of Business (LOB’s) during deal negotiation stage to ensure deals are structured in accordance with Oracle’s revenue recognition policy whilst maximizing the revenue to the Business


• Maintenance of relationships with regional Businesses to ensure all relevant deal related queries are addressed


• Maintain an up to date and thorough knowledge of the technical Revenue Recognition Policy and guidelines within Oracle


• Review of closed deals to ensure revenue is recognised in line with corporate guidelines


• Ensure all deal reviews and reporting is performed in line with Sarbanes Oxley requirements


• Delivery of training on Revenue Recognition to various lines of business as required


• Revenue accounting for hardware,software, support and services
