Job Description

Dell Services Federal Government is seeking a Solutions Architect as a recognized authority, the Enterprise/System Architect will provide high-level Enterprise and/or Systems architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. Enterprise/Systems Architect will have a deep understanding of Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) standards, reference models and guidelines, along with experience in using various enterprise architecture modeling and repository tools and methodologies as well as experience in developing briefings and responses to GAO, OMB, and executives within the department. Possesses extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with Strategic and Tactical Enterprise Transition Planning, Service Oriented Architecture, and the Business Mission Area Federation Strategy and Roadmap. Required Skills

* 6+ years experience applying high-level business and technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.
* 6+ years experience developing architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. Develop strategy of systems and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
* 6+ years experience with advisement on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
* 4+ years experience with identify and coordinate integration of system components, including hardware and software
* Map interactions between system components and other systems, including infrastructure and network pieces supporting the system
* 4+ years with drafting logical and physical diagrams, including data flows, develops capacity plans and threshold limits, and works with other analysts, including configuration, security, and development personnel, to ensure system development follows the planned architecture.
* Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
