On the back of delivering a brand new cloud service (Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service), Oracle is expanding the UK BI Cloud development team in the centre of Bristol.
Oracle is seeking to hire experienced UI software engineers to develop and further enhance the BI Cloud Service user experience. We are seeking UI Software Engineers with experience of developing cloud technology and services.
Principal Software Engineer is a senior, technical leadership role in an individual contributor capacity. Successful candidates will typically have: - Experience working on projects in the context of complex, distributed, multi-tier architectures. - Understanding of cross cutting concerns (security, lifecycle, scalability and high availability) - The ability to work on difficult, high risk, cross-team initiatives. - The ability to provide technical leadership and to work across the full software development lifecycle.

Oracle’s BI Cloud Service Development team develops a service for creating powerful business intelligence applications. Successful candidates will work on cloud lifecycle automation, continuous delivery and deployment, monitoring and diagnostic solutions, with opportunities to be involved in the design and implementation of a fully automated, elastic cloud architecture.
As a member of the cloud product development division you will participate in a highly agile development environment and process, dealing with complex and challenging projects, working with outstanding product development teams (in Bristol and worldwide).
