My team focuses on improving reliability, availability, and scalability of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search(SES), Oracle Enterprise Crawl and Search Framework(ECSF) and Oracle Cloud Search by doing functional testing and developing the design, implementation and execution of tests for new and existing features in our products.

We"re currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join us and pioneer our SES, ECSF and Oracle Cloud Search functional testing projects. The job location is at Oracle China Development Center, Shenzhen, China. You"ll have the unique opportunity to participate in Oracle new products release create a new sophisticated and flexible test suite which not only spans all SES, ECSF and Cloud Search components as an cross-functional test suite, but also covers each individual component in depth as a functional testing suite. Besides, you can learn about other Oracle merging technology and features, eg. RAC, Weblogic, OAM, FMWTOOLS, Oracle Cloud.

Responsibility:
* Design the test specifications from the functional specifications of SES, ECSF and Oracle Cloud Search
* Manually test the components and file bugs
* Design and implement integration test suites that simulate real world customer scenarios
* Develop test frameworks and automation tools for functional testing
* Execute test suites to discover the regression issues in the product
* Cooperate with development teams to resolve the problems encountered in the tests
* Coordinate function tests among different component teams

Required competencies and technical skills:
* BS/MS in CS from a top university, a few years of working experience preferred
* Strong programming skills in Java, Perl, Unix shell
* Familiar with XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services and other Internet technology
* Extensive experience with Unix platform. Experience with Linux will be desirable
* Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL is a plus
* Knowledge of Weblogic is a plus
* Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Self-motivated with strong capability of learning
* Team player, but can work independently as well



Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
