Oracle’s Cloud Operations team is looking for multi-talented System/Platform Administrator with expert level experience in supporting systems and applications built on a mix of Oracle and Open Source technologies.  This person will be directly involved in cutting edge, high visibility work with Oracle's emerging Exadata-as-a-Service offering.  As a key performer in a globally distributed team, you will triage issues and create solutions in support of Cloud Services across various PaaS / Exadata portfolios.  This is a unique, ground floor opportunity to work on cutting edge platforms to support Oracle’s growing Cloud Services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Development and other operational teams to define production deployment standards and drive standardization across operations.
• In depth hands-on system/OS triage, screen product bugs and interface with Product Development for resolution.
• Collaborate with multiple stake holders for service on-boarding functions, and establishing best practices.
• Handle customer escalations by providing Tier-2 support.
