ORACLE CC&B FUNCTIONAL ARCHITECT - Utilities Global Business Unit Consulting (Implementation)

***Oracle Utilities Consultants can live anywhere in the US and typically travel 75% + working on implementation projects across the US.

 

This is a  Senior Level Individual Contributor role (Technical Manager) within Americas Services organization, focused on providing functional Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) leadership on Utilities Global Business Unit multi product engagements.

 

Will work directly with client business sponsor and leads to ensure focus on business case objectives, leveraging best practice processes across the solution set, and scope management.

 

Internally will coordinate across the various delivery architects to ensure cohesive, consistent solutions and deliverables.

 

Current pipeline demand requires CC&B functional architect expertise.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Internal Oracle:

 
Mentor/develop other delivery architects into solution architects 
Contribute to reusable collateral/accelerators 
Participate in business development, including customer presentations and RFP responses related to CC&B Functional Architect role/function 
Knowledge sharing across peer group

Project / Client engagements:

 
o Single point of contact to both Project Manager and client for the CC&B solution, and scope management
o Provide leadership to the implementation team by promoting consistency across the team, including methodology, deliverable templates, terminology, etc
o Provide leadership and guidance in defining the CC&B solution landscape and strategy
o Partner with client business leadership to seek input from larger client organization and educate this community on key changes to current processes
o Provide utilities industry and CC&B best practice, through engagements in Oracle Utilities implementations within North America 
o Clear & timely communication internally, as well as externally with customers and partners
