Global Accounts Analyst
As a Global Accounts Analyst you will work with the highly successful Global Accounts Team in LinkedIn to transform an industry and have fun doing it. The Global Accounts Team manage the relationships of LinkedIns' largest, most valuable and strategic customers with a focus on Client satisfaction, ROI and sales.
Description
You will have the intellectual horsepower to understand and master complex business challenges quickly and the interpersonal awareness to get the best out of others whilst working around their priorities.
The activities you will undertake span the full lifecycle of customer commercial sales operations from CRM and sales order management through contract management to commercial performance reporting. You will develop inside sales skills to run customer contact projects and analytical skills to transform data into insights.
Primary Objective:
The Global Accounts Analyst is responsible for enabling our Global Account Managers (GAM) to focus exclusively on strategic customer initiatives by taking on all high volume daily activities such as meeting preparation, in-bound requests, special projects and the general coordination of support from internal groups.
This will include a range of administration, reporting, financial and marketing activities in our Hiring Solutions business. GAM's work directly with our largest customers across Europe and therefore the Global Account Analyst will be responsible for strengthening LinkedIn's most valuable relationships.
After the first 30 days you should be comfortable coordinating a range of internal tasks to support the GAM and their clients.
After the first 60 days you should have a clear understanding of our products, the roles of our support internal teams and be comfortable assisting clients with customer service and orders.
In the first 90 days you should have a strategic understanding of our client’s objectives and be comfortable discussing how these can aligned with our solutions.
- Be a general problem solver with a willingness to ‘roll up one’s sleeves’ and assist wherever needed to make your GAM more successful
- Within the first month on the job, have a clear understanding of what groups support GAM's (Enterprise Services, Recruitment Product Consultants, Sales Operations, Analytics)
- Within the first 3 months, learn the entire suite of LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions (including media offerings), how they are used by our customers, and be able to make compelling recommendations for additional investments in LinkedIn. In addition, have an opinion on other systems used by our customers and we integrate with them
- Within the first month, have a clear understanding of which customers you will support, what solutions they own, who the primary decision maker is, and when they renew
- On a daily basis, demonstrate executive presence both on the phone and in person; you will speak to customers daily and occasionally join GAM's on customer visits
- Daily email communication with customers and internal stakeholders must be clear and concise
- Daily multi-tasking with an ability to prioritize numerous GAM and customer priorities and demands; a keen sense of what projects are highest priority is a must
- Daily demonstration of coordinating activities across a team of internal support folks to accomplish a goal
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to all stakeholders (Customers, RMs, internal groups)
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency of the latest software productivity programs; daily use of Salesforce.com
- Demonstrate pro-activity and taking responsibility for opportunities and/or clients and/or projects.
- Proactive customer / business development work, i.e. actively prospecting certain clients, in a planned and coordinated approach with the GAM, in order to uncover new contacts, map out an organization, or find new opportunities.
- Track all customer service issues and sales orders
- Maintain excellent satisfaction scores (>4.0 out of 5) from GAM's by effectively managing expectations with multiple demanding stakeholders

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background
- Native command of English, additional language will be strong advantage
- Undergraduate degree from top tier university preferred, very strong academic record 2:1 or above.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organization, project management and time management skills in a fast paced environment
- Extensive experience working collaboratively with teams to accomplish goals
- Strong Microsoft Office capabilities: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint a must.
Experience with Recruiting, Internet or Social Media is a plus
