Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. (DSFG) is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with both strong Agile Scrum delivery skills and software development experience to work with us. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of Agile Software Development practices delivering deployable software in short sprints. You will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of an Agile Scrum team responsible for designing, developing and implementing custom database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems and applications. You will work in close collaboration with software developers, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and end users within Agile Engineering processes. The selected candidate should have a working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, XSLT, HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server 2008/2012, T-SQL, Object Oriented Programming and developing solutions aligned with Service Oriented Architectures. You will also be responsible for or support development of a spectrum of engineering artifacts that adequately but succinctly captures system requirements, design, architecture, and solution training. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.

Strong software development background, experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
Experience with C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms & MVC), JavasScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, XSLT, HTML5, CSS3, Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012, T-SQL, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and Window Identity Foundation (WIF). Additionally ,familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: SharePoint, Team Foundation Server (TFS), SSRS, SSIS, IIS, Virtualization, information exchanges, data warehouse, client server, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Security controls, Continuous integration, Automated testing, UML, Class diagrams, n-tier solutions.
Experience with continuous integration tools and environments
Developing applications utilizing .NET framework 3.5/4/4.5.
Ability to apply estimation techniques to software development efforts.
Ability to identify and manage risk.
Working knowledge of and ability to assist others in the use of software engineering tools to support process improvement.
Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
Knowledgeable in using T-SQL (DDL, DML, & TCL) to access SQL Server databases.
Experience with data base design, stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions.
Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Acts independently to expose and resolve problems.
