Sr. Instructor - Technical Training

Salesforce University provides high quality technical training for customers, partners and employees to ensure their success in using Salesforce products. We are seeking an experienced instructor who can define and deliver training for multiple products to technical audiences.
Responsibilities Include:
• Deliver effective, well-managed and well-facilitated training in public, private and internal classes including high profile private workshops.
· Work with customers to define and deliver tailored training events, technical training programs and deployment strategies.
· Proactively promote the Training & Certification catalogue of offerings such as learning paths, certification and additional training courses with customers, both in and out of the classroom. Support the training sales team to develop and sell education solutions.
• Provide support to course development, including product
research, providing subject matter expertise, training content review and running pilot classes. Participate in community conversations to optimise training materials, increase instructor technical knowledge and raise issues for discussion/resolution
• Mentor less experienced colleagues to develop their knowledge and skills
• Participate in and contribute to key initiatives in the local team to improve processes, customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Other duties as necessary to support Education Services and the success of our customers
Senior Instructor Experience/Skills:
• 3+ years of experience delivering technical training on enterprise software
products
· Strong technical skills, ideally including one or more of the following:
• Object Oriented Programming, such as Java, C# or C++, or Force.com Apex
• Web development skills such as PHP, ASP, JSP, or Force.com Visualforce
· The following skills would be of advantage:
• Integration experience such as SOAP, REST, or JCA a plus
• CRM application experience preferred but not required
•
• Proactive commitment to customer satisfaction and personal excellence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp highly technical concepts and to effectively distill technical information
• Outstanding delivery, presentation, facilitation and classroom management skills, with ability to alter delivery style ‘on the fly’ as student requirements dictate
• Demonstrable enthusiasm, positive professional attitude, integrity and reliability. A role model to other instructors. Able to work effectively in complex situations and/or in unforeseen circumstances to bring about positive results
• Can successfully work autonomously and complete tasks in a quality manner within a specified timeframe
• Schedule flexibility. Up to 50% travel may be required.
· Fluency in multiple European languages would be an advantage, as would active involvement in social media
