As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will join one of our gTech teams to be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. In this position, you will lead cross-functional teams of Engineering, Sales and Product management members to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships. Depending on business needs, you’ll have the chance to work on some of Google’s most innovative and high profile Advertising platforms, including AdWords and DoubleClick, as well as on Products like Maps, G+, Play and Wallet.



You will join one of our specific teams to work closely with our external clients as a partner and consultant. You will be the technical face of Google, working alongside our Sales and Engineering functions, acting as the expert in your area. You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative cutting edge solutions and act as a Google Guru to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google’s partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.



Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and optimize the new business opportunities and develop warm client relationships by leveraging Google products and technologies. Be the technical lead, developing cutting-edge solutions and provide consulting services to our partners. Build lasting relationships and be sensitive to clients’ needs.


• Perform implementation reviews, evangelize new product features, and provide partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.


• Help partners in their day-to-day challenges by delivering innovative and scalable solutions and troubleshooting their problems. Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.


• Propose, design, create and present prototypes, demos and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from engineers to marketing professionals.


• Some travel required to meet with specific Partners/Clients globally.

  Minimum qualifications
  


• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical subject or equivalent practical experience.


• Experience in one or more programming languages, including Java, C++, Python.


• Experience of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP.


• Experience working with and managing external partners/customers.

  Preferred qualifications
  


• Familiarity with SQL/MySQL and UNIX/Linux operating systems/commands.


• Proven ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience and comfort presenting technical materials to groups of any size and background.


• Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.


• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.


• Fluency in another European language.
