About the Security & Compliance Customer Success (SCCS) Team
Salesforce.com's worldwide Customers Success Group (CSG) is a global network of salesforce.com employees and partners. Our sole mission is to ensure customer success. Manager or Senior Manager, Security & Compliance Customer Success (SCCS)
In the role of Manager or Senior Manager of Security & Compliance Customer Success you will be responsible for working on various customer-facing activities in Japan and APAC ensuring customer understanding and accepting of our security controls and processes. You will also manage others in the region to support similar activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Host customer security and compliance audits and data center tours Present to customers on the topics of security, compliance, architecture and privacy.
• Assist Legal organization to negotiate security and compliance language for MSA's
• Provide management on RFP's and customer questionnaires
• Maintain customer facing security and compliance documents and white papers
• Provide input to the Product Management organization with customer generated requests
• Provide security and compliance education and training to various internal organizations (Pre Sales, Post Sales, etc.)
• Manage direct reports and complete assigned management activities
• Drive process improvement via leveraging the SFDC platform
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Keep current on Salesforce's rapidly evolving competitive, process, industry, and product landscape.
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience [Required]:
• University degree
• 5-7 years experience in IT security, compliance, consulting or other business advisory role, with a focus on security and compliance.
• 2-4 years of customer facing presentations to 'C' level executives as well as technical experts
• Knowledge of information security and privacy standards, laws, and regulations, security risk management, control protocols, methodologies, practices, and compliance / security certifications (i.e. ISO 27K, SOC, PCI, FISC, J-SOX, etc.) highly desired
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels and functions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to "think-out-of-the-box".
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that enable positive influence for Salesforce with customers.
• Native Japanese and excellent English language skills
• Willingness and ability to travel to domestic and international locations
Skills & Experience [Desired]:
• Advanced University Degree
• Active in external compliance and security organizations.
• Experience working with financial and government regulators.
