Salesforce.com is currently seeking a Strategy & Ops Intern to work on our Salesforce Communities product and help revolutionize the way people collaborate at work. We’re looking for a team player who is passionate about building products and bringing them to market.
Role:
We are seeking an analytical MBA intern to join a dynamic and high impact Strategy & Operations team. We are a small team who works closely with the leadership team and collaborate across the Desk.com business unit to develop and implement business analysis and solutions to deliver tangible results. You will develop analyses, deliver insights, provide actionable recommendations, and drive implementation to help transform and grow the Desk.com business unit at Salesforce.com. In the internship, you will work on highly complex problems; provide insight into the strategic issues; gain exposure to senior-level decision-making; and establish relationships across all areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Become the expert on key drivers of a Desk.com consulting and professional services business and be able to present analysis, key insights and recommendations to senior executives. Deliverables range from robust analytic models, custom performance analysis, and the packaging of findings into presentation-ready content for senior leaders.
• Play key role in the development and implementation of key performance metrics for the Desk.com business unit.
• Help to define, launch and execute new strategic initiatives focused on growth.
• Support the development of new offerings.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; An understanding of statistics, finance and predictive modeling preferred.
• Extremely adept at integrating disparate information, correlating data, and understanding data trends.
• Proven track record of performing analysis, identifying and meeting business needs with very little guidance and input from the business.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as the business and technical communities.
• Must be comfortable with changing requirements and priorities.
• Experience with sales, support, consulting, or other customer-facing business roles preferred.
• Be currently enrolled in an MBA program
