Google is looking for a highly technical manager to lead the development and execution of audio hardware solutions in new products and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Audio Hardware team, including members with acoustics, electrical, factory, test and validation roles.
• Drive collaboration and critical product decisions with cross-functional and leadership teams.
• Develop an audio technology roadmap for Google products that can support valuable user experiences and innovative features.
• Build a world-class audio team through hiring and mentoring.

  Minimum qualifications
  
• BS degree in Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in audio hardware development, including acoustic, mechanical, and electrical domains.
• 2 years of experience in direct personnel management.
• 
  
  Preferred qualifications
  
• Extraordinary leadership talent, with a proven ability to grow and lead high performing teams.
• Proven technical leadership, with the ability to chart appropriate course in complex situations.
• Proven track record of driving audio solutions in consumer products from concept development through product.
• A desire to redefine consumer audio experiences with innovative solutions to challenging problems.
