Job Description



Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government seeks a qualified Web and Applications Development/Support Advisor to support a Global Travel Management and Development program in Fairfax, VA. The Web and Applications Development/Support Advisor will be responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, deployment, administration and maintenance of internal and external web and standalone applications and web services in support of client operations. Must possess US Citizenship. Must have an Active Secret Clearance



Activities include:

* Administer and maintain the internal and external website

* Design, develop, test, deploy, administer, and maintain future internal and external web and standalone applications in support of client operations.

* Maintain back-end databases to ensure seamless and effective front-end operations

* Support the administration and maintenance of user account access for future internal and external web applications when necessary

* Develop and administer training for all Intranet applications

* Provide general graphic design support



Education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred but not required

Must have Active Secret Clearance



Experience

Typically requires at least 10 years relevant experience without a Degree; 4+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 3+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree



Specific Skills

* Expertise in IT solutions including, but not limited to, the following applications and databases: Adobe (Acrobat, ColdFusion, and Flex), Oracle and Microsoft SQL, Java, HTML5, ActionScript, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
