Do you want to identify massive, needle-moving opportunities and partner with product managers to successfully bring them to market?
We are looking for a product marketer that is passionate, strategic, and customer-obsessed to help drive our Jobs and Talent Brand businesses which collectively represent over $500M in LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions business. This person will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive value in these businesses, gaining alignment with product management, and leading go-to-market strategy and execution with cross-functional partners. The right candidate can tease out customers’ real needs, develop data-driven business cases for action, create compelling narratives for our customers, and can easily pivot from strategy to get-it-done mode.
This is a role in LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions business, which is revolutionizing how employers find and attract top talent. This is LinkedIn's largest monetization business, driving over $1B in bookings in 2013. We operate as a “Billion dollar start-up” with an entrepreneurial pace and bias for action, while scaling to become a global market leader. The Product Marketing team is a high performing team within LinkedIn, recognized with the MVP award for the Talent Solutions business in 2013.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing the Jobs and Talent businesses by leading product marketing strategy and execution for new products, features and monetization strategies
- Be a voice of the customer by developing deep insights about customers, global markets and competitors to shape marketing and product strategy
- Lead efforts to validate future product and feature concepts through customer interviews, research and analysis of user data
- Partner closely with product management and business leaders to prioritize the product roadmap
- Develop go-to-market strategy including business goals, definition of target/persona, positioning, messaging, and sales narrative
- Lead go to market teams and execution, partnering with global sales, marketing, and PR
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant product, marketing or business strategy roles
- Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive strategic decisions
- Top-notch analytical chops. Experience sizing and prioritizing market opportunities and building business cases
- Product marketing experience with a track record of driving rapid growth of innovative technologies (SaaS marketing or sales strategy experience a major plus)
- Ability to position innovative products and tell compelling stories through messaging briefs and marketing collateral
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
- Comfortable collecting and analyzing data from sources including surveys, salesforce (our sales system of record), and internal data warehouses using SQL
- MBA from top-tier school a plus
