This role is to provide domain leadership and excellence for the Big Data solution strategy in all aspects of engagement and support across strategic opportunities and partners in driving business opportunity and development

Responsibilities will include

•Execute on the objectives of the Big Data sales plan, including business development, positioning, competitive objective handling and engagement with the Sales teams 
•Execute, engage and drive to closure strategic opportunities in Region.
•Prospect, develop and lead maximum business opportunity/pipeline for Big Data; balancing ‘tactical win’ with longer term strategic value and account penetration.
•Enable and empower the Sales and Sales Consulting teams with effective working practice.
•Be an evangelist for Big Data across all aspects - solution landscape; how it addresses business challenges, competitive environment, analyst/press
•Support and drive success of key Big Data Sales Programs
•Establish and drive successful Big Data focused relationships and business engagement with key Partners and SI’s
•Act as spokesperson on Big Data in marketing, media and analyst events
•Business development activities aimed at building momentum around Oracle’s Big Data go-to-market including regional sales force knowledge sessions and workshops for key targets.
