Marketing Manager (Storage Solutions)

This is an opportunity to be part of the Enterprise Center of Competence (CoC) and the Americas Portfolio Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. We are looking for a Product Line Manager (Marketing) to join our team. The primary role of the PLM is to engage in a product’s lifecycle including aspects of product concept, define, planning, launch, sustaining, and end of life activities. This role will work closely with the product core teams to plan and launch products in the most efficient and logical manner to support Dell’s complex and robust sales motions. This includes sales support, order management support, product transitions, sales communications, pricing and roadmap planning. These activities have direct and measureable impacts to Dell’s success.
The PLM role will report directly to the Director of Americas PLM team for Storage, Networking and Dell Software Group. This role is specifically managing products in the Dell Storage Portfolio
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Product and solutions operations and launch readiness including management of SKU creation process, BOM reviews, NSS schedule development activities
· Sales support on order entry systems, SKU-related questions, sales operations, product-related questions, and product transitions
· Interlocking with pricing team to create sales alignment and strategy, providing pricing and discounting guidance
· Provide sales communications on launch, transitions, pricing updates, end-of-life and other core team-related notifications to sales
· Attend core team and provide inputs to improve process and tools support, provide launch status and inputs from extended team members

· Knowledge of Dell’s sales tools and processes is definitely a plus.
