The position is working as a Dell Services Federal Government employee at the customer site in Atlanta GA. The right candidate will have excellent technical and people skills. We are looking for a team player to serve as an MS Lync Network Engineer with a blend of technical and functional skills with respect to Enterprise Email/Messaging, Directory Services, and Lync Services. Required Skills
5+ years supporting integrated Unified Communications suite including Voice enabled (PSTN), Lync, Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint, Video Conferencing etc.
3+ years in schedule, distribute and develop reports for established reporting cycles and ad-hoc reports as well as on a weekly basis. Test, troubleshoot and evaluate all hardware, operating systems, and server-level applications associated with the Lync environment.
3 + years providing Tier 3 technical support for server hardware, OS and software troubleshooting. Schedule routine server system audits and maintain server system inventory and documentation which includes upper level support. Provide tier 2 and tier 3 troubleshooting support of Exchange and Lync issues; investigate user escalation calls, finding optimum solutions for both users and the organization.
3+ years in supporting Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Servers providing installation, logical and physical database design and implementation, security administration, backup, restore, and recovery plan and performance tuning. Also provides Microsoft Windows 2008 server builds and maintenance, including Volume Shadow Services.
3+ years installing and supporting for the Microsoft Active Directory environment, including Domain Name Systems (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Install, configure and support of Microsoft Distributed File System, File Replication Services, and File Quota/Resource Management.
3+ years performing script administration tasks and report using PowerShell or other script technology, developing scripts for automating processes within the environment.
Identify and resolve all Lync issues create and maintain documentation of the root cause of any problem in the Lync environment.
Perform afterhours and/or weekend maintenance activities as scheduled; conducting system tests after applying patches, software installs, upgrades or hardware installs or upgrades.
Participate in defined team projects and activities. (Such as new deployments, mailbox load balancing). Maintain performance levels which meets or exceeds standards as defined in the performance metrics.
Maintain and perform periodic testing of disaster recovery procedures for the MS Exchange 2010 and Lync 2010/2013 environment newer software versions will be supported as they become available.
3+ years providing Tier 3 technical support and trouble-shooting support of Lync Servers and Telecom Servers. Provide administration support for the Lync Enterprise Servers, Audio Codes Gateways and Telecom Servers which include Lync video, voice, and data.
Desired Skills

MCSA: Windows Server 2008 Solutions Associate

Undergraduate Degree
Experience
The position requires 5+ years' experience with Enterprise Email/Messaging, Directory Services, and Lync Services on an enterprise level as a SharePoint Administrator. Candidate should have experience with Multi-Environment and Multi-Environment installations.
