We are currently looking for a Presales Solutions Architect -Network Security supporting Dell SonicWALL solutions including Next-Generation Firewall, Secure Mobile Access, Email Security and our Global Management System as part of Dell’s Connected Security framework.



We currently have an opening on our technical sales team for a Network Security Lead Solutions Architect in the Eastern US. We're looking for a CIO/CISO level thought leader with outstanding technical and business skills to provide world-class, customer-driven security solutions to global, large enterprise and public sector customers.



Role Responsibilities:



- Help in building foundation practices that can help in delivering pre-sales efforts to customers



- Work closely with the BU and help in delivering the message from the field to internal product managers



- Deliver content to show industry expertise to customers. Develop white papers, videos, and other content



- Engage with customers at the C Level to evangelize the overall solution sets.



- Work with peers and other leaders across Dell to integrate network security solutions into the overall Dell message



- Delivers compelling technical and industry thought leadership to persuade Dell’s largest enterprise customers’ business and technical decision makers of the business value and technical capabilities of Dell SonicWALL and our long-term vision and strategy



- Obtain thorough grasp of customers’ business and technical issues in order to architect a compelling solution and clearly articulate how Dell SonicWALL solves the customer’s specific challenges



- These engagements include technology presentations, customized product demonstrations, Proof of Concept exercises and concise architectural/solution documentation



- Travel to assist local Dell SonicWALL account teams and Dell SonicWALL partners in closing large enterprise license deals in competitive sales situations and service strategic customers as they implement and maintain Dell SonicWALL products



- Work effectively within customer organizations by build stronger enterprise relationships from C level to the technical level personnel



- Maintains and regularly exercises expert level certification in applicable Dell SonicWALL solutions as directed by management



- Provide expertise and forward-thinking strategies to key Dell teams including solution architects, sales, systems consulting, product management, professional services, support and relevant business units



- Oversee customer projects, directing the work of consultants and communicating with the customer and the Dell SonicWALL services team in a clear and timely fashion, thereby ensuring successful implementation



Qualifications Requirements:



- Attainment of CISSP or equivalent industry certifications



- 3 - 5 Years’ experience managing teams desired



- 15+ years of experience working in a Security Solutions Architect, Consulting or Sales Engineering role.



- Up to 60% travel requirement (up to 3 days per week average)



- Extensive demonstrated experience in Networking and Network Security with desired additional experience in Identity Management (IDM).



- History of success delivering complex POCs or pilots with large strategic accounts.



- Understanding and designing solutions for heterogeneous environments and systems.



- Hands-on expertise in design, migration, configuration and deployment of complex firewall, web security, mobile access and email security solutions.



- Familiarity with governance and compliance issues and management/reporting solutions and requirements. Working knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FERPA, etc



- Skill set that includes deep technical level experience with one or more of the following vendor products: Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper/Netscreen, Cisco/SourceFire, BlueCoat, McAfee/Stonesoft, and HP/TippingPoint



- In addition, the candidate must have strong experience with the following technologies: Full range of L2-L7 networking technologies and protocols, NAT, stateful firewall, IDS/IPS, web and content filtering, proxies, VPN and encryption (IPsec/SSL), PKI and key management, 802.11/WLAN, Syslog, Netflow/IPFIX, Active Directory and LDAP, reading, interpreting and creating scripts, regular expressions and/or custom signatures, virtualization platforms to include VMware, Hyper-V and Openstack.



- Use of industry standard diagnostic and test tools including Wireshark, Ixia, BreakingPoint, Spirent, Mu Dynamics, Shenick, Codenomicon, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.
