The program aims to attract talented professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. gCareer Program is a return to work program for professionals with more than 5 years of work experience who have been out of the workforce for approximately 6 months or more. The program is designed for professionals to be a part of ongoing projects and to contribute directly to these live projects. gCareer Program is offered in the following business areas:



Large Customer Sales (LCS)



The regional LCS teams partner closely with our major advertising clients and agencies to develop digital solutions that help our clients build their businesses and brands. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape how marketing and business are conducted in the digital age. We help our customers connect with their audiences so they get the most out of the web.



Enterprise



As masters of cloud computing, the Enterprise team helps small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies discover the wonders of "the cloud" and work smarter through Google Apps. Our technical and sales teams design and implement solutions for these organizations with custom features, security and support -- all with Google's philosophy of innovation and ease of use in mind.



gCareer Program Application Details:



Program Duration: October 20, 2014 until February 6, 2015 for a total of 16 weeks.



Working Hours: 30 hours per week with flexible work schedule (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays).



Location: Google Tokyo Office (Roppongi).



Application Deadline: Monday, September 15, 2014 11:59 PM JST.

Responsibilities



Roles and responsibilities will vary based on the team allocation and project assignment, therefore, specific responsibilities will be carefully determined on an individual basis.



Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.


• 5 years of relevant professional experience.


• Business level communication in Japanese and English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in a relevant field such as sales, market research, consulting, finance or IT enterprise.


• Interest in the advertising sales, Internet, technology and/or Google products.


• Advanced level of proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software.
