BASIC FUNCTION:
The Associate Client Manager is responsible for overall client satisfaction of Small Business Group Health customers and is required to currently possess an active Life/Health license.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide customer support including, but not limited to client set up, client questions and concerns related to benefits, eligibility, claims, renewal activity.
Quote and communicate additional lines of coverage and calculation of employee deduction amounts for Group Health coverage.
Conduct welcome calls and scheduled service calls with group health clients.
Conduct comprehensive review of client policies at renewal and make recommendations on alternative solutions.
Investigate, research, analyze and resolve complex issues and advise clients based on extensive group health insurance product knowledge.
Provide follow-up on insurance carrier past due notices.
Act as a subject matter expert and single point of contact with clients while developing and maintaining effective communication to ensure satisfaction and world class service.
Achieve and maintain agreed upon levels of business retention while working with the Regional Insurance Executive to achieve team retention goals.
Gain an understanding and learned knowledge of the clients' business and insurance needs.
Experience, Skills, Academic:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required
3 - 5 years minimum experience in the Group Health Insurance Industry.
Customer Service related Broker/Agency experience preferred, Carrier and General
Agent experience acceptable.
Current Life/Health License is required
Experience in quoting and calculating and working with renewals is required.
Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to servicing needs amoungst various states.
Proficiency in composing and writing professional business correspondence is required.
Past experience in utilizing electronic resources (internet websites) to obtain information is desired.
