Sales Development Specialist, Sales Solutions- New York

LinkedIn is looking for a world-class Sales Development professional to become an integral part of the Sales Solutions organization. The objective of this role is to drive new business for the Linkedin Sales Solutions Sales team by leveraging our Social Selling solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and a desire to be part of a winning team in a dynamic team, with a start-up mentality within a quickly growing organization.

Responsibilities:




  • Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales leads

  • Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in SalesForce.com

  • Work with upper level managers and directors to design strategic account plans




You, first and foremost, are interested in a career in tech sales. This is an absolute must. Secondly, you are incredibly social -- in person, but just as importantly, across social media. You love not only your LinkedIn account, but your Facebook, and Twitter accounts. You might even dabble on Instagram and or SlideShare.



Requirements:


  • 1-2+ years’ experience in Lead Generation or Inside Sales at a SAAS company

  • Strong social media and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills

  • Fluency in English

  • Connecting – Able to use social media to connect the dots across networks and find common ground to gain personal and professional trust

  • Requires highly motivated individual with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail

  • Experience working and succeeding in a goal driven environment

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT)

  • Excellent academic qualifications; Bachelor’s Degree Required
