At gTech Ads, our mission is to “make it easy to run ads with Google at 10x the scale” through expertise and efficiency. To achieve this, we’re looking for Googlers who can partner with media and creative agencies, advertisers and Google’s internal teams to ensure flawless YouTube and Engagement ad campaign delivery.
Brand Specialists offer the highest quality campaign creation, delivery and support, both pre and post sales. You will execute quickly and efficiently on multiple campaigns providing sales, creative and technical consultation, across our most complex product areas - YouTube, Google Display Network (GDN) and reserve buys and engagement ads.
As a client facing expert, with a particular focus on coordinating agency support, cross functional relationship skills are key. You will operate as a key partner re-actively delivering brand campaigns based on agreed customer’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
You will have in-depth product knowledge and a strong technical aptitude which can be leveraged to persistently explore and uncover technical solutions to complex business scenarios.
Brand Specialists help provide the voice of the customer to the regional and global Customer Solutions and Innovations (CSI) and gTech Ads Product and Tools teams. Through your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will be essential to driving ongoing improvements to our products, processes and tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage the set up, support, delivery, optimization and reporting of reservation and engagement ad campaigns; liaise with sales and with the wider gTech support teams to ensure flawless delivery.
- Provide specialized sales, creative and technical product expertise to account teams, advertisers, agencies and industry partners as the primary point of contact for reservation advertising. Support and evangelize new product features, ensuring prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
- Develop and own one or more areas of product expertise and act as the teams Subject Matter Expert. Liaise with the regional and global gTech Product and Tools teams to further improve reservation and engagement advertising products and to optimize existing reservation tools and systems.
- Drive education initiatives designed to increase knowledge of Google reserve and engagement products and processes amongst agencies and sales teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and provide outstanding support across our platform technologies for advertisers and agencies using reserve and engagement products. Escalate out-of-scope troubleshooting issues to the gTech Global Support Team and monitor end-to-end timely overall resolution.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to speak and write English and German fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in Ad operations, trafficking, rich media, and/or inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or ActionScript skills and knowledge of third-party advertising tags (Mediaplex, Atlas, DoubleClick).
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a capacity to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Detail oriented and strong project management skills, with an ability to prioritize and quickly complete a large volume of high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to absorb complex technical concepts, and communicate them to a non-technical audience and a proven ability to present to sales, technical and marketing audiences.
