Integration Architect

As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing
software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and
execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA
and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the
leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or
MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related
experience.
Responsibilities
• Define and maintain integration standards and best practices across product development
• Review and help establish product technical roadmaps to address gaps and move products towards future architecture
aligned with standards and best practices, working closely with both development and product management
• Proactively educate and also engage with product development teams in hands-on consultations as required
• Author and contribute to technology specifications and ensure that new technology solutions are designed for optimal
access and usefulness, according to customer use cases and workflows
• Roll-up sleeves and implement solutions, including proof-of-concepts, prototypes and production code
• Review and approve product integration implementations to ensure consistency across all products, including
professional services offerings
• Recommend certification models and evangelize processes to validate interoperability
• Identify and recommend common behaviors to be realized in shared services
