Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
•Develop a strategic plan to prioritize target companies & optimize the pipeline creation and growth throughout the sales organization
•Serve as internal evangelist and product expert
•Support client sales opportunities by jointly presenting and developing proposals in partnership with Account Executives
•Train and educate sales team on product and key sales tactics
•Meet or exceed quota on a consistent basis
•Define and communicate best practices internally to the sales team and externally to clients and partners
•Drive and coordinate sales efforts through key channel partners
•Deliver feedback to product development on required enhancements
Skills/Experience:
•3+ years of SaaS sales experience is preferred and proven ability to manage a pipeline (Marketing Automation and/or B2B experience is a big plus)
•Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
•Strong communication (oral and written), presentation and listening skills; ability to communicate effectively at the highest executive levels within client organizations
•Proven ability to draft sophisticated proposals
•Ability to work with technical resources and to translate technical information for presentation to clients
•Must be an analytical, highly organized, self-starter that can demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness
•Strong individual contributor that requires little supervision.
•Competent in Microsoft Office; Google Docs; Salesforce.com (or other CRM platform)
•BA/BS or equivalent degree required, MBA is preferred
•Travel Requirements: 10 – 30% of time
